La Tombe
La Tombe is a commune with 208 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2011 ) in the department of Seine- et- Marne in the Île- de -France region; it belongs to Arrondissement Provins Canton and Bray- sur -Seine. The inhabitants call themselves Tombiens.
History
To 772 the area around La Tombe of Karl the Great was left to the Abbey Faremoutiers.
On May 26, 1418, a peace agreement in the civil war of the Armagnacs and Burgundian was closed in La Tombe.
