Hamilton Iceland Airport ( IATA: HTI, ICAO: YBHM ) is the airport of Hamilton Iceland, an island in the Whitsunday Islands group. The airport is located partly on filled-up land mass on the southwestern edge of the island. The main users of the airport are the two major low-cost airlines in Australia, Jetstar Airways and Virgin Australia.
The airport suffered heavily in 2001 under the end of Ansett Australia. In 2002, the airport for several days after the crash of a small plane with six dead has been closed.
