Grote Prijs Jef Scherens

The Grote Prijs Jef shearing (short: GP Jef shearing ) is a Belgian cycling race.

The Grote Prijs Jef shearing is a one-day race that since 2005 belongs to the UCI Europe Tour and is classified in category 1.1. The race was held for the first time in 1963 in Leuven and is a year since the beginning of September. It is named after the multiple track world champion Jef shearing. Record was the Belgian Frans Verbeeck, he won a total of four times. As the only German so far won Andreas Klier and Marcel Sieberg the semi classics.
