Guaratiba is a place and a municipality in the State of Rio de Janeiro of Brazil; to the site include the districts of Pedra de Guaratiba, Ilha de Guaratiba and Barra de Guaratiba.

Guaratiba is on the coast ( Baia de Sepetiba, as well as open sea ) and is with its beaches as a recreational area of the city of Rio de Janeiro.
