Guillermo Burdisso (2014)

Guillermo Enio Burdisso (born 24 April 1988, in Altos de Chipion ) is an Argentine footballer who plays for CA Boca Juniors, but is currently on loan at Galatasaray. His older brother Nicolás Burdisso is also football player and plays for Genoa CFC.

Club career

Burdisso started his professional career in 2009 at CA Rosario Central. After one and a half years, he moved to Italy and played one season for AS Roma, where his older brother Nicolás also hinwechselte. The brothers were hired by the club. Nicolás Burdisso remained in Rome, while Guillermo returned to Argentina and was awarded to Arsenal de Sarandi. In the season 2011/12 Burdisso won the Argentine championship with his team-mates.

After his first championship, he joined the club tradition CA Boca Juniors. So far Burdisso came at Boca Juniors 29 league games and scoring three goals. On February 3, 2013 Burdisso was awarded to Galatasaray. Galatasaray has for the center-back a purchase option in the amount of three million euros.

National

Burdisso made ​​his debut for Argentina on 27 January 2010 in a friendly against Costa Rica. In the same match he also met the same goal. His second and so far last international match for Albiceleste followed on 17 November 2010 against Brazil.
