Semih Kaya ( born February 24, 1991, Bergama, Turkey) is a Turkish football player.
Family and Childhood
Kaya was the son of Macedon - Turks in the western Turkish city of Bergama on the world. Both strands family emigrated from what is now Macedonia to Turkey. The families of his parents came from Skopje.
Career
Association
With ten years Semih Kaya began his football career at Petkimspor. After a year he moved to Helvacı and played one and a half seasons until he moved to Altay Izmir and played there for 2 years. After a match of youth teams Altay Izmir against Galatasaray Galatasaray Semih Kaya took on. In the 2008 /09 season he was appointed by Michael Skibbe in the first team. His first game in the jersey of Galatasaray was on 17 January 2009 at the Turkish Cup and on 19 April 2009, he made his debut against Istanbul Büyükşehir Belediyespor in the Turkcell Süper Lig
For the second half of the season 2009/10 Kaya was awarded to Gaziantepspor. Gaziantepspor had an option to buy him. The 2010/11 season played Kaya for the second division Kartalspor. The breakthrough at Galatasaray he succeeded in the 2011/12 season, when he could Servet Çetin displace and play in the ordinary formation.
National
He currently plays for the Turkish U-21 national team. There he played for the first time on 26 March 2009 against Denmark. His debut for the senior team gave Kaya on 29 February 2012 in a friendly against Slovakia.
