GüÃmar
Guimar is a municipality in the northeast of Tenerife, with 18,589 inhabitants (as of 1 January 2013). It is with the neighboring municipality of Santa Cruz de Tenerife on the South motorway TF -1 and the old road of Santa Cruz de Tenerife - Adeje connected. Guimar is located southeast of Santa Cruz de Tenerife. Neighboring municipalities are Arafo in the north, Fasnia in the south and La Orotava in the West.
The municipality has an area of 102.92 km ² at an average altitude of 289 m above sea level.
