Gummidipoondi (Taluk)
The Taluk Gummidipoondi (Tamil: கும்மிடிப்பூண்டி வட்டம் ) is a taluk ( subdistrict ) of Tiruvallur district in the Indian state of Tamil Nadu. Capital is the eponymous city Gummidipoondi.
Geography
The Gummidipoondi Taluk lies in the northeast of District Tiruvallur on the border of the neighboring Federal State of Andhra Pradesh. It borders on the Ponneri taluks in the southeast and Uthukkottai in the southwest. In the north, the limit is about Andhra Pradesh
