Güney ( Turkish for the south) is the capital of the district of the Turkish province of Denizli. Güney is located about 75 km north of the provincial capital of Denizli. Güney had at the last census 5,601 inhabitants ( 2012). With the associated villages and small towns, the population is 10,999.
