Hal Greer

Harold Everett Greer ( born June 26, 1936 in Huntington, West Virginia ) is a retired American professional basketball player. Between 1958 and 1973 he played the 76ers in the National Basketball Association (NBA) for the crew of the Syracuse Nationals / Philadelphia. Greer at the time was 1.88 m tall and played at the position of shooting guard. He was part of the 1967 championship team the Sixers, who broke the supremacy of the Boston Celtics. Greer was appointed ten times in a row in the NBA All -Star Team ( 1961-1970 ). He was also voted the 1968 Most Valuable Player ( MVP ) of the All- Star Games. Greer was appointed in 1982 in the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame.
