Earl Monroe

Vernon Earl Monroe ( born November 21, 1944 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania ) is a former American professional basketball player.

He played 1967-1980 in the U.S. professional league NBA. From 1967 to 1971 he played for the Baltimore Bullets. From 1971 to 1980 he played with the New York Knicks, with whom he won the 1973 championship. During his career, he was elected four times in the All-Star team and a time in the All- NBA First Team.
