Geography

Hambrücken is situated in the Upper Rhine plain to the west of Federal Highway 5, 10 km north-northwest of Bruchsal.

Neighboring towns of Hambrücken are ( clockwise from the west): the city Waghaeusel, the communities of Bad Schönborn, Ubstadt -Weiher and Forestry and the city of Bruchsal. All belong to the district of Karlsruhe.

History

The place is first mentioned in 1161, it belonged to the knight pin Odenheim.
