Harris Salleh

Yang Tan Sri Datuk Seri Panglima Berhormat Harris bin Mohd Salleh SPDK (* November 4, 1930 in Labuan ) was the sixth Prime Minister of the state of Sabah in Malaysia and president of the party Parti Berjaya. His term lasted from 1976 until 1985. During his tenure, he was responsible for the controversial release of the previously belonging to Sabah Labuan island of the Malaysian Federal Government, which put in the sequence Labuan Federal Territory of Malaysia for the second.

The Islamic politician is married to Datin Rupiah Bachee Khan.
