Salleh Said Keruak

Honourable Datuk Seri Panglima Salleh Yang Berhomat Said Keruak, SPDK, MLA ( born July 9, 1957 in Kota Belud ) is a Malaysian politician and the current Speaker of the Legislative Assembly of Sabah. He was also the ninth Prime Minister of the State of Sabah from December 1994 to May 1996.
Life
Salleh Said Keruak was on 9 July 1957 as Mohd. Salleh bin Mohd. Said was born in Kota Belud. He first completed a bachelor 's degree in political science at Simon Fraser University and then earned a Master of Science degree program in " nation-building and policy " ( Governmental and Political Studies) Universiti Putra Malaysia at the.
Salleh is married to Raya Erom and has two sons - Mohd. Syarulnizam and Mohd. Hafeez - and two daughters, Syazeera and Syeera.
Political career
After completing his studies, he worked as District Officer of Kota Belud District.
By 1991 Salleh initially belongs to the party Parti Bersatu Sabah (PBS). After his discharge from the PBS he met on 31 April 1991, the participating in the coalition government Barisan Nasional party United Malays National Organisation ( UMNO ) in. In the cabinet of the state, he held various offices over the years, including the Treasury, Minister for Local Government and Housing and Deputy Prime Minister.
