Hindsight is a compilation of the British band Anathema. She appeared in 2008 at Kscope.
Creation and publication
After A Natural Disaster, the band was initially a long time without a record deal, but continued to work on new material and placed on its website download singles. Finally Anathema signed to Kscope and took early 2008 announced some time ago Compilation with re-recordings of older pieces on. The cellist David Wesling from the Royal Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestra has participated as guest musician. Hindsight was produced by the band and mixed by Les Smith and Jamie Cavanagh.

Style
The new recordings on Hindsight are semi- acoustic versions. The pieces, the originals of which are from the last five albums have been re-arranged for acoustic guitar, piano and cello, electric guitar and keyboards only be used discreetly. Vincent Cavanagh and Lee Douglas ' vocals is usually at the center of the quiet and melancholic album.
