Geography
Hohenlinden is located about 10 km north of Ebersberg, 18 km south of Erding, just 34 km east from the state capital of Munich in the Munich region.

History

The village was part of the Electorate of Bavaria and was part of the closed Hofmark Ebersberg of St John, which was dissolved in 1808.
Here is the Battle of Hohenlinden was held on December 3, 1800.
Religions
In the village is the Church of the Visitation, built in 1489 in late Gothic style, and the parish church of St. Joseph, built in 1903 by Hans Schurr in the Gothic Revival style.

Tourism
The small tourist resort has variety of recreational activities from hiking to golf at the nearby Parco Good Thailing or the GC Ebersberg to the forest educational trail, the so-called Hohenlindener Sauschutt in nearby Ebersberg Forest which is ideal for hiking and cycling.

It was in 1998 according to official statistics in manufacturing and 155 in trade and transport, no social insurance contributions at the workplace.
