Hong Kong Film Award
The Hong Kong Film Awards (香港 电影 金像奖) are the most important film awards, which are awarded in Hong Kong. Since 1982, they will be awarded annually in different categories for cinematic achievements of the previous year.

The 100 best Chinese movies
On the occasion of the hundredth anniversary of Chinese film a list of the 100 best Chinese films was published in the 24th Hong Kong Film Awards on March 27, 2005. The actual 103 movies of 101 filmmakers, critics and film scholars selected. There are 24 of them from mainland China (11 before 1949, 13 by 1949), 61 from Hong Kong and 16 from Taiwan, as well as one Hong Kong - China and a Hong Kong - Taiwan co-production.
