Horní Újezd (Přerov District)

Horni Újezd ​​( German Upper Aujezd, 1939-1945 Upper Aujest ) is a municipality in the Czech Republic. It is located eight kilometers northeast of Bystřice pod Hostynem and belongs to Okres Přerov.

Geography

Horni Újezd ​​is on the right side above the valley of Moštěnka on a knoll in the Kelečská pahorkatina ( Keltscher hill country). To the east lies the valley of the Juhyně. Southwest raises the Křímy (333 m) and in the west the Dubecka (335 m).

History

The first written mention of Veliký Újezd ​​took place in 1371 as Lucek of Domaželice Újezd ​​and sold it.
