Impact Is Imminent is the fourth studio album by the American thrash metal band Exodus. It was published in June 1990 by Capitol Records. It is the last album with bassist Rob McKillop and the first with drummer John Tempesta.

Formation

After the contract was with Combat Records met with Fabulous Disaster, Impact Is Imminent first appeared on Capitol. Was recorded the album in studios Music Grinder and Record Two Mendocino. Produced by The H- Team, the album was mixed by Marc Senesac, who has worked with the previous albums for the band.

Reception

Eduardo Rivadavia of Allmusic described Impact Is Imminent as " a total stinker ." He criticized Steve Souza's texts. Even Tom Huntings departure had left a big gap. Just Only Death Decides and Within the Walls of Chaos are two of the " few bright spots ". He gave 1.5 stars out of five. Impact Is Imminent reached number 137 in the U.S. album charts.
