Ingrid Kristiansen

Ingrid Kristiansen (born Christensen, born March 21, 1956 in Trondheim ) is a Norwegian long-distance runner, who provided a number of world records in the 1980s caused a sensation.

At the World Athletics Championships 1987 in Rome she won the 10,000 meters. In the years 1986 and 1989 she won the Boston Marathon, in 1989 also the New York City Marathon. At the London Marathon in 1985 she put a world record ( 2:21:06 h), which had almost 13 years in hand, to him Tegla Loroupe broke the Rotterdam Marathon in 1998. Kristiansen took two more victories in London (1987 and 1988).
