Iridescent is a song by Linkin Park, and was released in 2010 on the album A Thousand Suns, and in 2011 with the movie Transformers 3 as a single.

History

This song was released September 2010 A Thousand Suns. April 2011 announced Mike Shinoda that Iridescent would be the fourth single from the album. She appeared in a month later in an abridged version as a single for the Transformers movie and in June this.

Background

The title translates as shimmering and is taken over by the instrumental demo for A Thousand Suns. In the text, it is important that you do not give up hope and to release all " sadness and frustration ". The music video for the song is inspired by the story The Country of the Blind and has effects like in the video for Waiting for the End, as well as references to the movie ( Transformers 3 ) and the Last Supper.

The song reached number 46 in the German charts and number 81 in the U.S..
