New Divide is a song by American metal and rock band Linkin Park. The song was released as a single. He was for Michael Bay's film Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen received. The song was released on May 18, 2009. The band Linkin Park wrote it together; the producer was Mike Shinoda.
Background
The song What I've Done was the first Transformers soundtrack included as well in the trailer for the film. Mike Shinoda mentioned the song New Divide on 28 March 2009 and said. "We worked in the past few weeks on a new song, which has a lot of fun," The rhythmic basis of the song is composed of superimposed synthesizer tracks and the hard drumming by drummer Rob Bourdon. On 24 April 2009 Shinoda announced that the band with the film music composer Hans collaborated room to integrate different versions of the play in the movie. Although the song is not found on any album of the band, the song has appeared on several singles, including on Iridescent, which served as the soundtrack for the third Transformers movie.

On 14 May 2009 Shinoda said that the band is currently working on a music video for the song. The music video was filmed at Paramount Studios.
