Iris Strubegger
Iris Strubegger ( born July 21, 1984 in Schwarzach im Pongau, Salzburg) is an Austrian model.
Life
In 2001, she was part of a student exchange for three months in New York City and was discovered there by an agent. The following year, she made test shots for an audition and signed her first contract with Elite Model Management. Her career began with a catwalk.
She walked for Calvin Klein S / S 03 season. In January 2003, she was booked for her first campaign. She became the face of Armani Collezioni by Giorgio Armani. A year later, she decided to temporarily stop using the modeling to complete her studies for digital television in the Fachhochschule in Puch. But in 2007 she had a comeback, she signed for Supreme Management in New York and Women Management in Paris and Milan. By Russell March, the casting director for Prada and Miu Miu, she was booked for Pop. Also on the catwalk she was seen again often. She opened the Valentino and Dries Van notes show. 2008, the photographer Steven Meisel took notice of Strubegger and made her a photo shoot.
In the meantime, she had plenty of opportunity with many well known top photographers in the fashion industry to work, such as Craig McDean, David Sims, Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott, Inez van Lamsweerde and Vinoodh Matadin, Mario Testino, Karl Lagerfeld, Paolo Roversi, Mikael Jansson, Daniel Jackson and Patrick Demarchelier.
For the S / S 09 season she was on almost 70 shows. For the A / W 09 season, there were 80 you ran, among other things Shiatzy Chen, Narciso Rodriguez, Dolce & Gabbana, Alexander McQueen, and Sonia Rykiel. She was among other things, the face of Balenciaga, Pepe Jeans, Pollini and Dolce & Gabbana. In May 2009 Strubegger was one of the faces of Givenchy with Maria Carla Boscono and Adriana Lima. She is also the face of Valentino.
In September 2010, she held with Karl Lagerfeld a photo shoot with some of shots for the Pirelli calendar in 2011 were used. Strubegger is close friends through their mutual cooperation in a number of campaigns and staying in New York with Heidi Mount, Ms Mihalik and Katrin Thormann.
On August 6, 2011 Strubegger married in the Church of the Holy Primus on the book mountain in Bischofshofen, Salzburg her childhood friend Wolfgang Rottensteiner.
In September 2011 and April 2012, she appeared on the cover of German Vogue.
