Italian Somaliland parliamentary election, 1956

The parliamentary elections in Italian Somaliland or the Trust Territory of Somalia were held in 1956.

The result was a clear victory for the Somali Youth League, who could win 43 of 60 seats in the Legislative Council. Ten additional seats were reserved for Italians, Indians, Arabs and other non- Somali minorities.
