Somali parliamentary election, 1984

The country was at that time a socialist one-party state, with the Somali Revolutionary Socialist Party ( SRSP ) is the only authorized legal party.

The voters were simply asked whether they accept the list of 171 candidates SRSP. Turnout was officially at 99.86 %.
