Iulian Apostol
Iulian Catalin Apostol ( born December 3, 1980 in Galaţi ) is a Romanian football player at the position of midfielder. He stands in January 2013 in Dunărea Galaţi in the Liga II under contract.
Career
Apostol began his career at Dunărea Galaţi, where he was taken in 1996 in the first team. In his first season the midfielder with the club 14 Divizia example was The following year, the final result could be repeated.
The greatest success with Dunărea had the midfielder in the 1998/99 season when they finished eleventh was, however, increased in 1999/2000 and from Apostol joined Metalul Plopeni, with which he in his first season in Metaluldress of the Divizia C rise in Divizia B. There he finished fifth in the 2001/ 02 season.
In 2002 he left Metalul and went to league rivals Gloria Buzău. There he was with the club second, where he came into the rise Playoff, but failed. In the 2003 /04 season Apostol played back in his hometown in Oţelul Galaţi. It was fifth in Divizia A and was therefore unable to qualify for the UEFA Cup.
The midfielder left after a year and went to Oţelul Farul Constanta. In his second Erstligasaison Apostol could again be fifth. After half a year at Farul he was awarded to Oţelul Galaţi, there he was with the club ninth. In the season 2006/ 07 he returned to Constanţa. After returning Apostol made his debut at the European level, as he was replaced in the second round of the Intertoto Cup against the Bulgarian representatives Locomotive Plovdiv in the 61st minute against Bogdan Apostu. The game ended 2-1. After these relatively successful start of the season you were 14 at the end in the league.
2007 and then moved to Unirea Urziceni. With the then newly promoted could be reached immediately the fifth place in the following season, you could even be Romanian champions. In the championship season Apostol came 28 times to insert and scored two goals.
In the 2009/10 season Apostol played with Unirea in the Champions League. End of August 2010 he moved to league rivals Steaua Bucharest. There he could not prevail, and returned after only four months back to Unirea. The club had to leave many players in the meantime and was unable to repeat earlier successes, but struggled to avoid relegation whereabouts. By season's end, he had to join the in the Liga II. He then moved on to league rivals Rapid Bucharest. There he could not prevail, and came into the season 2011/12, only ten missions. In the summer of 2012, he was discharged to the second team Rapids before him, his former club Dunărea Galaţi undertook in January 2013.
National
In the National Team midfielder has played seven times and scored one goal. The first goal came Apostol October 13, 2009 against the Faroe Islands in the qualifying match for the 2010 World Cup. He scored the 1-0 in a 3-1 success in Piatra Neamt.
After Apostol had not been considered for over a year, he celebrated on 8 February 2011 against Ukraine in a tournament in Cyprus his comeback when he came on in the 79th minute for Gabriel Mureşan.
