Jacques Hermant

Jacques Hermant ( born May 7, 1855 in Paris, † June 5, 1930 ) was a French architect who is known as one of the pioneers of concrete construction.

Life

Jacques Hermant was the son of the architect Pierre -Antoine- Achille Hermant ( 1823-1903 ). Later he became a professor at the École nationale supérieure des beaux -arts in Paris and at the same senior architect of the city of Paris and the French Government. He belonged in 1906 to the authors of a ministerial regulation on the application of reinforced concrete.
