Jaka Lakovič

Jaka Laković ( born July 9, 1978 in Ljubljana, Yugoslavia ) is a Slovenian basketball player.

Career

Jaka Laković began his career in 1996 with KD Slovan Ljubljana. In 2001 he moved to Krka Novo mesto with whom he also for the first time in the ULEB Euro League was launched and was able to draw attention to themselves in the very first season with 20.9 points and 3.8 assists on average. Although his achievements not handed in order to qualify for the Top16 - phase of the competition, with his subsequent change of clubs in 2002 to the European top club Panathinaikos Athens Laković had still managed his international breakthrough.
