Jamie Richard Vardy ( born January 11, 1987 in Sheffield ) is an English footballer. He is since 2012 the English second division Leicester City under contract.

First stations

After switching off in the youth academy of Sheffield Wednesday launched Jamie Vardy his players joining the amateur club Stocksbridge Park Steels. In June 2010 he moved to siebtklassigen also in the Northern Premier League playing club Halifax Town and contributed 27 league goals in the winning of the Championship 2010/11.
