Jari Sillanpää
Jari Sillanpää ( born August 16, 1965 in Ludvika, Sweden ) is a Finnish singer sweden, famous mainly in Finland.
Career
Sillanpää was born and grew up in Ludvika Lulea. After leaving school he worked occasionally as a model and bartender, among other things, on the ferries between Finland and Sweden. He then studied at the pop and jazz conservatory in Oulu, Finland.
In 1995 he was elected to the Finnish market in Seinäjoki Tango to "Tango King".
In the semifinals of the Euro Vision Song Contest 2004 in Istanbul, he reached with his song Takes 2 to tango with a total of 51 points on the 14th Place. In 2009 he tried again to represent Finland at the Euro Vision Song Contest, but ended up with his song " Kirkas Kipinä " (Heller spark) outside the first three of the preliminary decision.
