Jayson More

Jayson W. More ( born January 12, 1969 in Souris, Manitoba ) is a retired Canadian professional ice hockey player. During his career he played for the New York Rangers, Minnesota North Stars, San Jose Sharks, Phoenix Coyotes, Chicago Blackhawks and Nashville Predators in the National Hockey League.

Career

More played for four years from 1984 to 1988 in the Western Hockey League with three different teams. After being selected in the NHL Entry Draft in 1987 in the first round in the tenth place of the New York Rangers, he delivered in the following season 1987/88 his best and most productive year in the WHL from with 60 points in 70 games, but also 270 penalty minutes, giving him the appointment to the WHL West First All-Star Team.

Prior to the 1988/89 season the defender moved in the professional sector, since he had submitted a contract offer from the Rangers.
