Jeber Mountain Peace is a district of the city Coswig (Anhalt) in Wittenberg district in Saxony- Anhalt.

Geography

The community Jeber Mountain Peace on the southwestern edge of the Flämings is located on a ridge between the valley of Rossel and the southern Nuthe. The area is densely wooded, the terrain is characterized by rolling hills, the 120 m above sea level. Reach sea level.

History

On 1 July 2007, the municipality Jeber Mountain Peace was reclassified in the district of Wittenberg as a result of the district reform of the former district of Anhalt -Zerbst.

On 1 July 2009 Jeber Mountain Peace was incorporated into Coswig (Anhalt). The last mayor was Kurt Schroeter.

The symbols in the coat of arms designed by heraldist Jörg Mantzsch are based on the name and meaning to the story, linking the once separate places Jeber and mountain peace.
