Jeber Mountain Peace is a district of the city Coswig (Anhalt) in Wittenberg district in Saxony- Anhalt.
Geography
The community Jeber Mountain Peace on the southwestern edge of the Flämings is located on a ridge between the valley of Rossel and the southern Nuthe. The area is densely wooded, the terrain is characterized by rolling hills, the 120 m above sea level. Reach sea level.

History
The present town entsand by merging the villages Jeber and mountain peace. The latter leads his place names for a no longer existing donjon, which was part of the militia to Zerbst around.
On 1 July 2007, the municipality Jeber Mountain Peace was reclassified in the district of Wittenberg as a result of the district reform of the former district of Anhalt -Zerbst.
On 1 July 2009 Jeber Mountain Peace was incorporated into Coswig (Anhalt). The last mayor was Kurt Schroeter.

The symbols in the coat of arms designed by heraldist Jörg Mantzsch are based on the name and meaning to the story, linking the once separate places Jeber and mountain peace. Jeber derives its name from Old Slavonic Javori = maple bush or sycamore. This is all the more apparent, as several neighboring villages are named by Jeber of Slavonic by plants. Mountain peace again was due to the earlier big Landwehr or watch-tower, that was to say later reinforced and an old customs house .. For these reasons, the maple leaves and the sword - in some cases in conjunction with the heraldic Dreienberg the reference to the name takes - chosen as the heraldic symbols. These contents have been implemented graphically according to the heraldic stylistics.
