Jim Svenøy

Jim Svenøy ( born April 22, 1972 in Molde) is a Norwegian hurdler.

Three times he took part in the Olympic Games: Atlanta 1996 he was eighth, ninth in Sydney in 2000 and Athens 2004 he divorced in the run- off.

At the World Athletics Championships in Stuttgart in 1993, he retired from the lead, reached the semi-finals in 1995 in Gothenburg and was founded in 1997 in Athens seventh. In 1999 in Seville he failed equally in the flow as in 2001 in Edmonton.

At the European Athletics Championships in Helsinki in 1994, he was seventh, won the 1998 in Budapest bronze and retired in Munich in 2002 in the run- off.

From 1993 to 2004 he was twelve times in a row Norwegian champion in the 3000 m steeplechase. He also won the national title in 1992 over 1500 m and 1996 to about 5000 m.
