Joacim Cans

Joacim Cans ( born February 19, 1970 in Mora ) is the lead singer of the Swedish band Hammerfall.

Life

In 1986, the band Cans Eternity. At first he only played guitar but had to additionally take over the vocal part, because no one else for that agreed. Later he focused entirely on the vocals. In 1991, he helped the band Highlander out at a live show, resulting in a multi-year membership was formed. The band later became known as Lost Horizon. At this time, he opted for a singing career. In 1993, he joined a music school in California, which has heavily influenced him.

In 1996, he helped the band Hammerfall in performance. Although Cans actually wanted to retire from the music business, he has remained active as a singer of Hammerfall; this he quit his job at a record store.

Since 1994 he lives in Switzerland and works with the truck company David Valliere transport

In 2002 Cans worked as a singer on the comeback album Rising Out ​​of the Ashes of the U.S. Epic metal band Warlord. Two years later came with Beyond The Gates released his first solo album.

2013 Cans will go in December with the 32 -member Magnum Opum Rockestra, led by Marcel Heijnen on a special Christmas Metal Symphony Tour. Other singers of this project are Udo Dirk Schneider, Joey Belladonna, Chuck Billy, Michael Kiske and Floor Jansen.
