Joanna Mucha

Joanna Mucha ( * April 12, 1976 in Płońsk ) is a Polish politician, 2011-2013 Minister of Sport and Tourism.

Life

In 2001, Joanna Mucha completed her studies in business administration at the University of Warsaw with a master's. After her studies she worked from 2002 to 2010 worked as a research assistant at the Catholic University of Lublin. In 2006, she completed a postgraduate course on Health Economics at the University of Warsaw. In 2002 or 2003 Joanna Mucha became a member of the newly formed Platforma Obywatelska ( Civic Platform ). On September 20, 2007, she graduated with rationalization in the public health sector in Poland through a system of co-payments by patients at the Catholic University of Lublin. In the parliamentary elections in 2007, it launched in constituency 6 Lublin and was able to win with 21 028 votes, a mandate for the Sejm. Joanna Mucha was again able to win a seat in the Sejm Also in the 2011 elections in the same constituency with 45,568 votes. On 18 November 2011, she was sworn in as Minister for Sport and Tourism in the cabinet of Donald Tusk.

Joanna Mucha has been divorced since July 2011. Her two sons live with her father in Lublin.
