João Gonçalves Filho

João Gonçalves Filho ( born December 7, 1934 Act; † June 27, 2010 in São Paulo) was a Brazilian swimmer, water polo player and has already participated at the Olympic Summer Games.

Biography

João Gonçalves Filho was a float for the first time in 1952 participants at the Summer Olympic Games in Helsinki. With the Summer Olympic Games in Melbourne in 1956 he again took part as a float.

In the Summer Olympics 1960, he played in the water polo team of Brazil. However, he left the team after the first round after defeats against the total German team as well as the Soviet Union and a draw against Argentina from.

At the opening ceremony on 12 October 1968 he was flag bearer for Brazil in the participating nations invasion.
