Joaquim Cruz

Joaquim Cruz ( Joaquim Carvalho Cruz, born March 12, 1963 in Taguatinga, Distrito Federal ) is a former Brazilian middle-distance runner

Cruz was one of the world's best 800 -meter runners in the 1980s and won at the 1984 Olympic Games in Los Angeles against its major rivals Sebastian Coe, the gold medal.
