Johann V of Nassau-Vianden-Dietz

John V (* November 9, 1455 in Breda, † July 30, 1516 in Dillenburg ) was 1475-1516 Count of Nassau - Dillenburg.

Johann was the son of Count John IV of Nassau- Dillenburg, after whose death in 1475 was John V. older brother Engelbert II legacy of the Dutch possessions to Breda, while Johann Count of Nassau - Dillenburg itself was. Johann then inherited also Engelbert when he died in 1504.

In 1482 he married Elizabeth of Hesse, the daughter of Count Heinrich of Hesse- Marburg and his wife Anna of Katzenelenbogen.

1484/1485 he undertook a pilgrimage to Jerusalem.
