Floris van Egmont

Floris van Egmond, Count of Buren ( also Florens, Florence, Florent ) (* 1469, † October 14, 1539 ) was a Dutch statesman and military in Habsburg service. He was the first governor ( stadtholder ) the rule of Friesland.
