John F. Campbell (general)

John Francis Campbell ( born 1957 ) is a general in the United States Army (USA) and Vice President since March 8, 2013 Chairman of the General Staff of his strike force (English Vice Chief of Staff of the Army, VCSA ).

Education and Career

Campbell grew up as the son of an officer in the U.S. Air Force on various military bases and attended the Military Academy at West Point, New York, from which he graduated in 1979 and was then stationed at first as a platoon leader in the 28th Infantry Regiment in Hessen Wiesbaden.
