John Lukic

Jovan "John" Lukic ( born December 11, 1960 in Chesterfield, England ) is an English former football goalkeeper of Serbian origin. He was active in his playing career for the English clubs Leeds United and Arsenal.

Playing career

Born as the son of Yugoslavian parents in Chesterfield John Lukic debuted in 1979 with Leeds United in the English Premier League. After his team in the Football League First Division was 1981/82 relegated to the second division, he spent the 1982/83 season in the Second Division. Leeds could not be realized, whereupon Lukic moved to first division side FC Arsenal for the coming season direct resurgence.
