Jordan at the 1996 Summer Olympics

Jordan took at the 1996 Summer Olympics in Atlanta for the fifth time in the Olympic Summer Games in part. The team consisted of five athletes, three of which were male and two female. They entered five competitions in three sports. The youngest participant was a swimmer, Mira Ghniem with 13 years and 68 days, the oldest was the Athlete Fakhredin Fouad Al -diene Gor with 28 years and 293 days. During the opening ceremony on 19 July 1996 Walid Al- Awazem carried the flag of Jordan in the Olympic Stadium.
