Virgin Islands at the 1996 Summer Olympics

The U.S. Virgin Islands participated in Summer Olympics at the 1996 Olympic Games for the seventh time. The team consisted of twelve athletes, of which six men and six were women. They launched in eleven competitions in five sports. The youngest participant was the athlete Maria Noel at 18 years and 73 days, the oldest was the shooter Bruce Meredith with 59 years and 98 days. The flag bearer for the U.S. Virgin Islands at the opening ceremony was the sailor Lisa Neuburger.
