Bolivia at the 1996 Summer Olympics

Bolivia took at the 1996 Summer Olympics for the ninth time in the Olympic Summer Games in part. The team consisted of eight athletes, of which six men and two were women. They started in nine contests in five sports. The youngest participant was a swimmer, Ximena Escalera 16 years and 199 days, the oldest was the Athlete Policarpio Calizaya with 33 years and 329 days. The Bolivian flag was worn during the opening ceremony on 19 July 1996 by Policarpio Calizaya in the Olympic Stadium.
