Jordan Crawford

Jordan Lee Crawford ( born October 23, 1988 in Detroit ) is an American professional basketball player who is currently with the Golden State Warriors in the NBA under contract. Crawford wears the number 27

Career

College

Crawford began his collegiate career in 2007 at Indiana University. In his freshman season he played in 30 games in which he was able to achieve an average of 9.7 points 3.4 rebounds and 2.3 assists per game. Crawford reached double-digit points 15 times. Indiana won 13 of 15 games for themselves. The team finished the season with 25 games and 33 obtained from the Indiana University could make it to the NCAA Men 's Division I Basketball Championship, where his team was able to reach the second round, in which it, however, with 49:54 defeated future champion UCLA.

In 2008 he moved to Xavier University of Cincinnati. However, in the season after the change, he played no game due to suspension of the NCAA. Nevertheless, he was able to train with his team. The next season he became the most important player of his team, was 20.5 points, 4.7 rebounds and 2.9 assists per game achieve. Again he was able to move his team into the NCAA Men 's Division I Basketball Championship. Xavier won the first two rounds each against the University of Minnesota in the first round and against the University of Pittsburgh, against which they were eliminated last season in itself. In the third round, however, Crawford's team of Kansas State University had to admit defeat. This year, Crawford was named among other things, to the A -10 Player of the Year and appointed to the All-American First Team.

NBA

Crawford was subsequently included in the 2010 NBA Draft with the 27th overall pick by the New Jersey Nets, which, however, relatively shortly thereafter were trading him for the Atlanta Hawks. On 23 February 2011 he was then, together with Maurice Evans and a later first- round pick in the NBA Draft for Kirk Hinrich and Hilton Armstrong to Washington, DC sent to the Wizards. On April 1, he succeeded the first triple-double of his career. He scored 21 points, 11 assists and 10 rebounds. Shortly before the transfer deadline, he joined in February 2013 in exchange for Leandro Barbosa and Jason Collins to the Boston Celtics. For the Celtics Crawford ran until January 2014. In mid-January the Celtics transferred him along with Marshon Brooks to the Golden State Warriors.
