Jordan Hendry

Jordan Hendry (born 23 February 1984 in Lanigan, Saskatchewan ) is a Canadian professional ice hockey player who is under contract with AIK Hockey Svenska ligands, since February 2014.

Career

Jordan Hendry started his career as a hockey player in the team of the University of Alaska Fairbanks, where he was active from 2002 to 2006. He subsequently received on 17 July 2006 as a free agent contract with the Chicago Blackhawks.

First, however, he played one and a half year for which at that time the farm team, the Norfolk Admirals of the American Hockey League, for whom he made ​​his debut in professional hockey in the 2005/06 season. In the 2007 /08 season the defender played for the first time in the National Hockey League for the Chicago Black Hawks, for whom he scored four points scorer in 40 games. In the season 2008/ 09 the Links Sniper stood mainly for Chicago's new AHL farm team, the Rockford IceHogs, on the ice. In the 2009/10 season he won with the Chicago Blackhawks the Stanley Cup. The 2011/12 season began the defender at the Houston Aeros in the American Hockey League before he was early November 2011, equipped by the HC Lugano of the National League A with a contract until the end of the season. Beginning of July 2012 Hendry was signed by the Anaheim Ducks, however, denied in his only season only two NHL games for the Californians.

For the 2013/14 season of Canadians was taken from the Straubing Tigers of the Deutsche Eishockey Liga under contract.
