Daniel Larsson (ice hockey)

Daniel Larsson ( born February 7, 1986 in the ground) is a Swedish professional ice hockey goaltender, who plays since 2012 when AIK Stockholm in the Svenska Hockey ligands.

Career

Daniel Larsson began his career with the youth team of Luleå HF, before joining in the season 2003/ 04 to the senior citizens of his native soil association IK in Allsvenskan second-rate. In the 2004/05 season he shared Initially with the Finn Matti Järvinen the post as first-choice goalkeeper, as the soil in the main round cut off finished last. For the 2007/08 season Larsson took over the post of goalkeeper Djurgårdens and finished with the team at the end of the seventh. Larsson had the third best fishing quota and the third best Gegentordurchschnitt the league and was awarded the Trofé Honkens as the best goalkeeper in the Elitserien.

In May 2008, Larrson has signed a two - year contract with the Detroit Red Wings, but it is planned that he will contest the farm team of the Red Wings, Grand Rapids Griffins, the AHL in the 2008/09 season. He quickly established himself alongside fellow goalkeeper Jimmy Howard and came in half of the games used. Larsson showed to be an important support, as the Griffins established themselves among the top teams in the league and he remained in 13 consecutive games without a loss in regulation time, while four times he suffered no goals in this period. Subsequently, he was appointed in January 2009 PlanetUSA All-Star Team of the AHL All-Star Game.

In May 2010, Larrson from HV 71 Jönköping has been committed from the Elitserien.
