Playing career

Club career

José Macia, who was under the stage name Pepe better known, played his entire career for his hometown club FC Santos. In Santos, where he was born on February 25, 1935, he began in 1954 with the football. National

In the Brazilian national football team José Macia 1956-1963 34 times was used. In these 34 games he scored 16 goals. With the Brazilian national team, he participated in two World Cups. Coaching career
