Joshua " Josh " Brilliant (* March 25 1993 in Bundaberg ) is an Australian football player.

Career

Brilliant played the majority of his youth for the Across the Waves SC in his home town of Bundaberg. Early on Brillante has been identified as one of the greatest talents of his region and was regularly to state selection team. He was awarded the Wide Bay Primary Sports Person of the Year, after leading the school selection of Queensland to a shared first place in the National School Championships in 2005. In 2008 he played with Bundaberg Spirit in the Queensland State League and won the year progresses with Across the Waves the championship in the Bundaberg Premier League; the 15-year old Brillante also received this award as Bundaberg Junior Player of the Year. The following year he moved to Brisbane for a scholarship at the Queensland Academy of Sport perceive before he was recruited by the newly formed A- League club Gold Coast United to their youth team.
