Jovellar, Albay

Jovellar is a Philippine municipality in the province of Albay. It has 16,899 inhabitants ( census May 1, 2010 ).

Geography

The Quipia River flows through the municipal area in the direction of Donsol in the province of Sorsogon.

Economy and Transport

Jovellar can be reached by road via Guinobatan. Jeepneys operate the 16 km long route daily 5-17 clock

The main industry is agriculture. Their main products are rice, copra, abaca, and corn.
